We are all in a difficult position just now and for self employed artists, we have the added worry of financial issues to cope with and those of us with children and elderly relatives have challenging situations to deal with. However on the good days, I have still managed to take some infrared photos. I also think that when you are constrained by your geographical location, you are forced to closely study the environment you are in and look for new ways to make it interesting. In my case I have been concentrating on my home town of Dunbar and looking for different angles, if you pardon the pun, when out and about on my once a day daily allowed wander. Also, we are in a strange place from a temperament point of view at the moment and sometimes this can lead to some unique work, other times, lets face it, you just can’t summon up the energy to perform. As a professional event and fine art photographer from Scotland, I have had many ups and downs, nearly all financial, so I am accustomed to this kind of stress and I can sometimes use this to my advantage to create some interesting work. Here are a few photos I took a few days ago in Dunbar, East Lothian.
Until next time, stay safe.
Kind Regards
Colin
