Hi All
After a good summer concert and some hugely enjoyable festive concerts last year, as an active music and event photographer from Edinburgh. I am looking forward to the next episode of the Rock Project concerts. there will be two concerts giving the different age groups the chance to show of their inner rock star. I will be photographing the event and we will have some happy parents who will be able to keep images of their budding child stars. Its a hugely enjoyable day with some great performances from the kids. This is event photography at its best and it compliments my conference and corporate photography, which starts to hot up around Edinburgh at this time. Two very different genres, but lots of similarities, with the main aim being to capture moments, utilise the light to its best and make sure you don’t get in the way of the participants or the audience whilst taking the photos. Rock and music photography gives you lots of opportunities to play with coloured lighting and although you have very little control over the lighting beyond portable flash, you will have opportunities to get creative with some coloured light shooting in all directions and adding atmosphere to the shots. Some example from a few music shoots, including the Rock Project are shown. Until next time.
Kind Regards
Colin
