Infrared Photography in Scotland – New Book Soon

As some of you may be aware, I have been photographing infrared throughout Scotland for the last 5 or 6 years now and following the launch of my Infrared Photography in Scotland collection this year (details on my website), I now plan to do a book, which will showcase a variety of infrared photographs taken in locations such as East Lothian, the Falkirk Wheel, Mull, Skye, Glasgow and Edinburgh. This won’t be an instruction book, more about the emotional and artistic side of infrared photography, although I will start with an introductory paragraph on how to capture infrared images. There will also be detailed information about the locations and the conditions. I also intend to briefly explain how I can use infrared imagery to enhance my corporate and event photography commissions in Edinburgh and Scotland. I hope this book will give people an idea about the enchanting nature of infrared photography. Details will follow, as I am currently negotiating with publishers.

Colin Wright is a commercial freelance corporate event photographer from Edinburgh, currently based in Kirkintilloch near Glasgow. Colin specialises in conference and corporate event commissions in Edinburgh and other areas throughout Scotland and the UK. Colin is a qualified and experienced freelance photographer, who has several years experience in newspaper and PR photography, particularly for Johnston Press publications and other newspapers in the Lothian area. In addition to supplying national publications with PR photography in Edinburgh and Glasgow on a regular basis. commercial photographer Colin is also a regular event photographer in Edinburgh and Lothian for Supercar event companies, who organise motor sport and other extreme sport events throughout the UK. Colin Wright Photography also do interior and architecture photography commissions in Edinburgh, Glasgow and throughout Scotland. Colin also specialises as a conference photographer in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Scotland. In addition, Colin has supplied a number of magazines and publications with architecture, landscape and Infrared images.

In addition, Colin is a specialist infrared photographer, supplying hotels and businesses with bespoke fine art images from around Scotland. In addition to professional event photography in Edinburgh, Colin also participates in a number of infrared photography forums throughout the world and he is in the process of developing a long term project entitled "Infrared Photography in Scotland."
