Infrared Christmas

This is an infrared photograph I took yesterday of Winterfield Golf Club in Dunbar, the location for a wedding photography assignment next week. I wanted to do something unique, although it is a beautiful spot, I want to show it in a different light, the infrared light rays show up well in the infrared format, and add a bit of contrast to the image then you have this result. As a professional photographer shooting this wonderful country Scotland, it is up to me to try and come up with something different and everyone identifies infrared photography with white trees, even clouds but I think shadows are under estimated, what do you think?

In addition to professional event photography in Edinburgh, Colin also participates in a number of infrared photography forums throughout the world and he is in the process of developing a long term project entitled "Infrared Photography in Scotland."
