At this time of the year, as a professional event and corporate photographer operating in Edinburgh and Scotland, I try to make good use of the quiet periods in December and January by taking new infrared photos in East Lothian and Edinburgh and organising previous images taken in the Spring and Summer to prepare for sale and also to update my websites. I was in Edinburgh on friday and was presented with some perfect shadows on the buildings, which lead to some artistic infrared photos, that was after a good infrared photoshoot at Cove Bay, Borders, Scotland – not bad for the winter, which can be very challenging for infrared photographers, due to the rather dull weather we get and the lack of trees and foliage, but you just have to look harder and I am more than happy with what I took.
The rest of the week sees me getting into action with some food photography in Edinburgh and a corporate student event photography assignment at the Corn Exchange in Edinburgh.
Until next time.
