Hi Everyone
Its a very difficult time for us all and I can certainly echo that sentiment for photographers, many of us also have extremely difficult financial challenges at the moment. I specialise in conference and event photography in Edinburgh and around Scotland and as you can imagine all events have been cancelled or at best postponed. I also had a few high profile commissions, which would have boosted my portfolio, but now is not the time to moan about things. I am also reflecting on my business operations, looking for new challenges, in particular how I can sell my infrared photography around the word. This is a good opportunity to examine how best to sell digital images on line. In addition, I am also in the process of self publishing a book on infrared photography, showcasing my infrared photos from around Scotland. I am developing both my websites and I have been in contact with agencies regarding event photography work in the future once all this ends. So onwards and upwards. Anyway, better get back to that other task – home schooling my son. I think any photography commission is probably easier. The picture above is from a Skids concert I photographed for the newspapers.
